Original: Police have identified a 19-year-old woman who was shot and killed Wednesday, Sept. 6, in Lawrence.
Angie Aristy was shot just before 9:30 p.m. in the area of 300 Howard Street in Lawrence, the Essex County District Attorney's Office said.
Paramedics rushed Aristy to Lawrence General Hospital, where doctors pronounced her dead a short time later, authorities said.
No one has been arrested in the killing.
Her family said they plan to start a GoFundMe soon to help cover the funeral expenses, but as of Thursday evening, that has not been posted.
