New charges leveled against a former gym teacher bring the number of children he is accused of sexually abusing up to 12, Salem News reported. All of the survivors of the former teacher's abuse are girls aged between six and eight, the outlet reports. North Andover resident Daniel Hakim, 36, was arrested in June for 32 counts of aggravated indecent assault and battery on a child under 14, according to authorities. Former Salem School Teacher Accused Of Assaulting 10 Female Students: Police
A former Salem public school teacher has is facing multiple charges for allegedly assaulting at least ten female students over the course of his employment, authorities said. Daniel Hakim, age 36, of North Andover, was arrested on 32 counts of aggravated indecent assault and battery on a child under 14 on Wednesday, June 15, Salem Police said. The accusations stem from Hakim's time at Saltonstall School from 2015 to 2018, police said.
