ARL: Dog Dumped On Side Of The Road With Second-Degree Burns In Norwood The Animal Rescue League of Boston (ARL) is helping a 1-year-old dog who was found suffering from severe burns to 20% of its body this week in Norwood. Annie was found with second-degree burns to her head, neck, shoulders, front limbs and abdomen along Route 1 around Ellis Avenue, the ARL said. She was wearing a leash and collar but did not have any tags or microchip. Concerned for her welfare, Norwood Police brought Annie to the ARL where she was later transferred to an animal hospital in Walpole. Emaciated Chihuahua Brought To Malden Police, ARL Getting Life-Saving Help A two-pound, emaciated and ill Chihuahua is getting some long-awaited care after they abandoned near the Malden Police Department last week.   Bailey was found huddling in some bushes along the East Coast Greenway bike trail in the area of Deli and Branch Streets on Monday, July 25, the Animal Rescue League (ARL) said. A Good Samaritan scooped up the one-year-old puppy in a blanket and brought him to the police station.   Bailey was later treated at an animal hospital in Charlestown then transferred to the ARL's Boston center.
