Three people were rushed to Massachusetts General Hospital with serious injuries after a shooting at a Pizza Hut on State Street on Tuesday night, Dec. 26.
That shooting happened shortly after 8:30 p.m. and the trio appear to be in stable condition as of Thursday, Dec. 28, Lynn police said.
A 16-year-old and 19-year-old were taken to North Shore Medical Center following a separate shooting at an A.L. Prime Energy gas station on Camden Street shortly after 10 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 27.
Officers arrived at the scene to find the two suffering from gunshot wounds. Both died at the hospital, police said.
Authorities have not released the identities of any of the people involved in the recent shootings.
“Based on our investigation to this point, we believe that these are targeted attacks, and we ask for the public’s help,” Lynn Police Chief Christopher Reddy said in a statement.
Mayor Jared Nicholson also offered his condolences to the families of the two teens.
“This violence is devastating, infuriating, and utterly unacceptable. We will respond with increased police presence as needed and renewed urgency and clarity in our efforts for peace, justice, and a safer community.”
