A District man who couldn't last a week after his ex-girlfriend gave him a second chance is facing prison time after violently attempting to control her.
Barrington Hart, 36, was convicted on a host of charges in DC after he was in a romantic relationship with a woman, broke up, then reunited for four days, during which he terrorized her last summer, according to authorities.
Prosecutors say that Hart and the woman got into an argument on July 27, 2023, when he accused her of cheating on him and demanded to look through her phone, which she refused.
