Manslaughter Charge For Fentanyl Supplier Following Fatal OD In Maryland: Sheriff
An alleged drug dealer is facing serious charges in Charles County after a fatal fentanyl overdose late last year claimed the life of a 20-year-old, authorities announced. Pomfret Derick Szero Proctor, 40, has been charged with manslaughter in connection to the fatal overdose of George Liddle, Jr. last December in Marbury, according to the sheriff's office. Officials say that on Dec. 12, 2022, Liddle died from an overdose, and it was later determined that Proctor allegedly supplied him with the drugs that killed him.
