A bad romance led to trouble with the law for a former corrections officer in Maryland who conspired with her inmate boyfriend to smuggle drugs into a Prince George’s County facility. Waldorf resident Danielle Dominique Smith, 34, admitted that she found herself in an intimate and sexual relationship with a prisoner at the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections Detention Facility, with whom she worked with to bring illegal materials into the building.
