Former Northwood HS Track Coach Sentenced For Sexually Abusing Teen Athlete A former high school track coach in Maryland has been sentenced for the sexual abuse of a teen athlete, authorities said on Wednesday, Feb. 14. Giovanni Reumante, 34, of Takoma Park, was sentenced to five years with all but one year suspended and three years of supervised probation upon release, the the Montgomery County State's Attorney's Office announced. He has waived two years of credit for time served as part of his plea agreement and will be registered a sex offender for life upon his release. Maryland Track Coach Sexually Assaulted Former Athlete, Maybe More Victims: Police A Silver Spring High School track coach has been arrested on charges of felony sexual assault and molestation against a former student, according to police.  Giovanni Di Angelo Reumante, 31, of Takoma Park is accused of sexually assaulting a former female student at Northwood High School who is now an adult, said the Montgomery County Police Department.
