Water Main Break Sends Montgomery County Public School Students Home Early Several Montgomery County schools closed after a water main break in Germantown, reports My Montgomery Community Media. Northwest and Seneca Valley High Schools dismissed students at 11:30 a.m., while Great Seneca Creek and Clopper Mill elementary schools closed at 12:30 p.m., Friday, Dec. 16 continues the outlet. Emergency repairs are being made to a 24-inch water main on Clopper Road after the main broke, causing water service interruption to the area. Covid-19: These Montgomery County Public Schools Are Switching To Virtual Learning As a result of COVID-19 and staffing shortages, 16 schools in Montgomery County will move to virtual learning, according to district officials. The schools will begin a period of virtual learning from Jan. 20 through Jan. 29. They will return to in-person learning on Monday, Jan. 31, Montgomery County Public Schools said.
