Rewards Up To $10K Offered In Silver Spring Carjacking Authorities are offering rewards of up to $10,000 for information that could lead them to identify and arrest a suspect involved in an armed carjacking that occurred last week. Officers were called to the Citgo gas station on Georgia Avenue in Silver Spring just after 10 p.m. on Wednesday, Mar. 2, Montgomery County Police said. The victim of the carjacking told police his car was stolen while he left the car unlocked and running to go inside and buy some food.
