'Explosions' Spook Homeowner Investigating Garage Fire In Bel Air
A homeowner in Harford County got quite a scare when he went to investigate what was believed to be explosions coming from the inside of a Forest Hill garage, officials say. On Wednesday afternoon, crews from the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company were called to a Grier Nursery Road residence, where a family member reported what he described as an explosion, with smoke coming from the inside of a workshop. The National Weather Service has released snowfall totals for the DMV in this week's storm. One person is dead and another hospitalized after a head-on crash with a work van in Harford County, state police officials say. Shortly before 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning, troopers were called to a stretch of MD Route 23 (East West Highway) near the Morse Road Bridge to investigate a reported crash involving at least two vehicles in Forest Hill. The 40-year-old Maryland man who lured his teen neighbor to his Harford County home and plied her with alcohol before sexually assaulting her will spend years behind bars, authorities announced. A Harford County man has been arrested following a Maryland State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force investigation into reported distribution and possession of child pornography, authorities announced.
