A woman was robbed and assaulted at gunpoint on Route 495 in Maryland early Wednesday morning, Feb. 28, state police said. It happened on the outer loop in Prince George’s County around 2:30 a.m. The woman saw a dark passenger vehicle following her while she was driving on Route 1 near Ikea Way. The suspect vehicle then struck the woman’s vehicle as they entered the outer loop of Route 495 from Route 1, state police said.
