New Haven County resident Michael Arthur Miller, of East Haven, died around 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 5, in Oxford. According to the Connecticut State Police, Miller was riding his Harley-Davidson FLHT Classic eastbound on Silano Drive when he entered the Route 188 intersection and was hit by a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 pickup truck traveling southbound. Poughkeepsie Man With 32 Prior Arrests Charged Again With Burglary In Lloyd A Hudson Valley man with 32 previous arrests has been charged again with burglary and criminal mischief. Dutchess County resident Jason Bohlig, age 45, of Poughkeepsie, was nabbed by the town of Lloyd Police on Friday, May 31. According to Lloyd Police Chief James Janso, Bohlig is accused of breaking into a home on Pancake Hollow Road and then running when the homeowner confronted him. He was arrested shortly after and is being held without bail at the Ulster County Jail. Bohlig is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday, June 5.

Spring Valley Man Sentenced For 2 Violent Rapes A Hudson Valley man will spend the next 25 years in prison for raping and beating a woman twice.  Rockland County resident Rigoberto Lopez Castro, age 26, of Spring Valley, was sentenced on Wednesday, June 5, to a total of 25 years for the two rapes and one count of burglary, said Rockland County District Attorney Thomas E.
