A shooter from Spotsylvania has been apprehended days after a 42-year-old man was shot and killed in Stafford County, authorities announced on Friday. James Allen Wright, Jr., 42, is facing murder and other charges following an investigation into the death of Derrick Campbell, who was shot and killed in the 200 block of Streamview Drive in the Rappahannock Landing Subdivision, officials confirmed. Authorities announced that a Maryland woman has become the fifth to be sentenced to prison time for her role in a massive fentanyl trafficking conspiracy across the region. Upper Marlboro resident Ericka Oliver, 34, has been sentenced to 96 months in prison for participating in a conspiracy to distribute more than seven kilograms of the deadly drug, according to the Department of Justice. A Virginia woman has been charged with murder after her 4-year-old son overdosed on weed gummies and died on Mother's Day, authorities announced. Dorothy Annette Clements, 30, of Spotsylvania, has been charged with felony murder and child neglect following an investigation into the death of her son earlier this year.
