Bystanders Rush To Help Teen Girl Shot In Baltimore, Police Say
A teenage girl is recovering after being shot in Baltimore overnight, authorities say. Baltimore police were called to the 900 block of North Belnord Avenue around 10:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 4 after reports of a ShotSpotter alert. Once officers arrived at the scene, they were flagged down by citizens who were helping a 15-year-old girl who had just been shot. The child was rushed to a nearby hospital where she received treatment for a gunshot wound in her arm and is expected to survive. Police have not yet identified any suspects or motives for the crime.

Two young teens are recovering after being attacked in Baltimore overnight, authorities say. A 14-year-old boy and 13-year-old girl were found suffering from gunshot wounds after police responded to a ShotSpotter alert around 11 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 14, according to a Baltimore Police Department spokesperson. A woman has died and two children are fighting for their lives after the vehicle they were traveling in was shot at in a Baltimore intersection, police say. Mya Morton, 23, passed away on Monday, Jan. 30 from injuries sustained in the incident that killed Gerald Fowlkes, 43. in the 1700 block of Pennsylvania Avenue on Saturday, Jan. 28, Baltimore police say. Homicide detectives in Baltimore are investigating another “mass casualty incident” that left one man dead and two children "fighting for their lives," according to Commissioner Michael Harrison.
