John Ryan Coblentz was heading south on a 2002 Harley-Davidson on Winchester Boulevard when he tried to navigate a curve and veered off the roadway around 8 p.m., according to Todd Wivell, a spokesperson for the sheriff's office. A garbage truck driver was killed after being struck by another man while on the job in Northern Maryland, state police say. Jose Gomes, 55, of Hagerstown, died at Frederick Health Hospital after he was struck by Oxon Hill resident Osman Perez Mollo's Subaru while he was picking up garbage cans on Green Valley Road in Clarksburg early on Wednesday morning. Police ID Pedestrian Killed By Driver In Maryland Crash
The pedestrian killed in an Oxon Hill collision has been identified as a Waldorf man, authorities say. Noshua Vann, 38, was struck in the 6100 block of St. Barnabas Road around 9:45 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 20 according to Prince George's County Police.
