New Details Released, Suspect Vehicle ID'd After I-495 Shooting The Virginia State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation has identified and is now looking to locate the suspect vehicle (pictured above) involved in last week's shooting incident on I-495 in Fairfax County. According to investigators, the suspect vehicle is a blue, two-door 2010 Honda Civic with Virginia license plate: TWW 9398. The incident began at approximately 4:50 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 25, when state police were notified by a motorist advising that his vehicle was shot by the driver of a blue Honda as they were both traveling north on I-495 near Exit 52B for Route 236/Little River …

MD Gunman Fired At Sanitation Worker, Police During Multi-State Pursuit: Authorities (Update) A 26-year-old Maryland man was arrested for leading a police pursuit across state lines into Virginia on July 4, authorities announced. Frederick Njihia fired a gun multiple times at a Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission worker and a man standing next to his truck around 9:50 a.m., bringing police to the 11300 block of Hawks Ridge Terrace in Germantown, Montgomery County police said.
