Police ID Pedestrian In Wheelchair Killed By Garbage Truck Near Frederick Shopping Center The Frederick Police Department has released new details after a person in a wheelchair was struck and killed by a garbage truck earlier this month. Police say that at approximately 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 12, officers from the department were called to the 1200 block of West Patrick Street, where they found 73-year-old Frederick resident William Arthur Whitted, Jr. in the roadway after being struck by the truck. Funeral Arrangements Set, Traffic Advisory Issued For Maryland Sheriff's Deputy Funeral details for the Anne Arundel County Sheriff's Deputy who suffered a heart attack after arriving for duty have been released, authorities say. Services for Deputy Scott C. McArdle will be held on Friday, Aug. 19 at the Saint John Neumann Church located at 620 N.
