Repeat Bank Robber Heading Back Behind Bars In Maryland For Latest Heist: Prosecutors
A 59-year-old man who brandished a handgun and slipped a bank teller a note demanding cash in Maryland has been convicted by a jury, the Montgomery County State's Attorney's Office announced. Gaithersburg resident Samuel Harry Powell Jr. is facing up to 25 years in prison after being found guilty of armed robbery and robbery on Thursday, Feb. 15 stemming back to an incident in September 2021.
