A pair of New Yorkers were involved in a fatal crash on I-95 in Harford County overnight, according to Maryland State Police. Rajwinder Singh, 22, of Hicksville, was killed on Wednesday, April 5, when he got out of his disabled tractor-trailer on the side of the interstate in Abingdon and was struck by Roosevelt resident Abbas Zaheer, 19, who police say lost control of his Toyota Camry. Police are looking for a suspect involved in a shooting after an altercation at a bar that occurred in Glen Burnie, authorities say. On Wednesday, Nov. 16, just before midnight, officers responded for a report of a fight at Sidelines Sports Bar & Grill located at 105 Chesapeake Center Court in, according to Anne Arundel County Police. A 35-year-old pedestrian succumbed to injuries she sustained last month when she was struck by a car crossing a busy Maryland roadway, according to police. Rockville resident Sonia Maribel Mejia Cruz was pronounced dead at an area hospital after being struck by a car late last month, a spokesperson for the Montgomery County Department of Police announced on Wednesday, Nov. 16. Police ID Pair Killed In Montgomery County Crash
A violent collision in Montgomery County has left two people dead, authorities say. Silver Springs residents Prabodh Vaid, 79, and Nirmala Vaid, 77, were pronounced dead at the scene after their vehicle was hit while attempting to make a turn from Georgia Avenue onto May Street, around 7:44 p.m., Monday, July 11, according to Montgomery County police.
