One eastbound lane has reopened on Route 140 at the Littlestown Pike intersection nearly 24 hours after a gas line was damaged in Carroll County. Crews worked around the clock in Westminster after a six-inch gas line was damaged by a highway guardrail contractor, which forced emergency repairs and road closures in the area that were ongoing on Tuesday, July 25. Traffic was temporarily tied up in Maryland near the Baltimore and Carroll County line after a major crash on Route 140.
