Shortly before 3:30 a.m. on June 25, officials say that a 1.8 magnitude earthquake with an epicenter of Spencerville in Montgomery County hit the area, which could be felt all the way into Delaware and Howard County. City resident Jewel Crowder, 40, has been arrested and charged with the first-degree murder of 23-year-old Deputy Ryan Alexandr Demby, authorities announced.
