Case Of Boy's Ocean City Hit-Run Death Cracked Ten months after a 14-year-old boy was struck and killed in Ocean City, a defendant has been charged. Tyler Mailloux, 22, of Berlin, is facing more than a dozen charges out of Worcester County in the July 2022 hit-and-run death of Gavin Knupp on Grays Corner Road while walking to his sister's car.  Gavin was pronounced dead at the hospital. In Worcester County, Berlin resident Terri Wattay, 59, was taking her dog for a stroll on Thursday, Oct. 6 when she was struck by a truck in the 11000 block of Grays Corner Road in her hometown. Wattay was transported by paramedics to Atlantic General Hospital and later transferred to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.
