Suspicious, Scheming Thief Busted For Scamming Residents In Baltimore County, Police Say
A 26-year-old thief was busted for scamming residents throughout Baltimore County, police said.
Alex Rich was arrested on multiple open warrants relating to theft schemes on Friday, March 15, the BCPD announced this week.
Rich was being held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
Suspicious activity and individuals can be reported to 911, the BCPD said, adding that residents should try to take note of license tag numbers, vehicle descriptions, or suspect descriptions without putting themselves at risk.

Fingerprints led investigators to a man who broke into a mobile phone shop in Montgomery County months ago, police said.
The burglary occurred around 4 a.m. at the Cricket Wireless store in the 11300 block of Georgia Avenue in Wheaton on Friday, Nov. 17, Montgomery County Police said in a Monday release. Mukhtar Ali Mohamed, 27, allegedly broke into the store, stole merchandise and left.

Family Friend, House Cleaner Sentenced For Swiping Thousands In Cash From Hampstead Client
Two Maryland house cleaners have been sentenced to time in prison for stealing thousands of dollars in cash from a client's home, authorities said.
Karen L. Stonesifer, 65, of Hampstead, and Susan E. Pinder, 65, of Manchester, were both captured on surveillance footage swiping $2,440 and $810 from drawers in their home, officials in Carroll County said.

Two people have been arrested for a pair of recent armed robberies in Maryland, authorities announced.
Stephen Lavance Oates, Jr., 35, and Katrice Ceclia Wood, 29, were arrested and charged for robberies committed Monday, Jan. 8 and Wednesday, Jan. 10, Montgomery County Police said.
Oates, Jr. and Wood, who have no permanent addresses, were donning masks when they entered the 7-Eleven on the 14100 block of Georgia Avenue around 2:50 a.m. Jan. 8 and demanded the workers not to move.

Vittorio Lane, 36, of Sykesville, has been arrested and charged in connection to a string of recent church burglaries throughout the county, the sheriff's office announced on Wednesday, July 26.

Police have identified both the suspect and victim in the case of the stolen forklift crash this week in Charles County.
