Eldersburg Native, Westminster Mom Jennifer Kassakatis Geilfuss Dies, 44
Carroll County mom Jennifer Kassakatis Geilfuss died at home on Thursday, Feb. 1, according to her obituary on the Zumbrun Funeral Home website. She was 44 years old.
Jennifer was born in Texas but graduated from Liberty High School in Eldersburg, then settled in Westminster, her obituary says.
She considered being a mother to her son, Cody, her "most important and precious role," her obituary reads.
In addition to being a caring mother, Jennifer was being remembered for her contagious laugh, love of the beach, and giving nature.

A woman is being accused of starting, not fighting, fires in Maryland, authorities say.
Eldersburg resident Allison Nicole Creutzer, 20 a volunteer Carroll County firefighter with the Reese Volunteer Fire Company has been arrested in connection to a string of fires over the last year in the Eldersburg and Liberty Reservoir area, according to the state's fire marshal.
