Nickita Sammy of Accokeek was the passenger in a Hyundai traveling south on Branch Avenue at the intersection of Earnshaw Drive in Brandywine, where the driver attempted to make a left turn and was struck by a BMW driven by Timothy Brickhouse, 26, of District Height on Wednesday, Jan. 10, Daily Voice reported. Nickita was pronounced dead at the scene, while her driver was hospitalized with undisclosed injuries. …
