An unidentified driver was killed after smashing through the front of a building in Harford County, authorities said. The westbound lanes of the 300 block of Route 40 were closed at Beards Hill Road Extension in Aberdeen due to the fatal crash at about 1:20 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16, according to Aberdeen police. The vehicle was traveling west when it crossed over into the eastbound lanes of traffic then crossed over a median, returned to the westbound lanes, and struck a building, police said.
