Suspect Caught After I-83 Closure: PA State Police (Update) A manhunt in York County is over, Pennsylvania State Police announced around 4:30 p.m. on Monday, June 5, 2023. UPDATE: A suspect has been apprehended following a manhunt that shut down part of Interstate 83 for nearly 8 hours.  The unidentified man was taken into custody near mile marker 5 in Shrewsbury Township near I-83, according to Pennsylvania State Police, Troop J. Baltimore Resident Shot During Struggle With Midnight Intruder, Police Say Police are searching for an armed suspect who came face-to-face with a Baltimore resident overnight, officials said.  Baltimore police officers received a report of a shooting in the 500 block of Payson Street around 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 28. When officers arrived, they located a 22-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the hand, they said.  Investigation revealed that the victim had heard a noise at the back door of the home and went to investigate when he came face-to-face with an armed man, according to police.
