One person is dead following a midday shooting in Maryland on Thursday afternoon, authorities announced. At approximately 2:10 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20, officers from the Prince George’s County Police Department responded to the 3200 block of Walters Lane, where there was a reported shooting. Upon arrival, police say that officers found a man in the area who had been shot multiple times. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to investigators.
