Teen Boy Fatally Shot In Head, 2nd Victim Survives In Baltimore
A 16-year-old boy died after being shot in the head and a 42-year-old man was shot in his lower back in what police believe was the same incident Wednesday evening, April 19 in Baltimore. The incident happened just before 9 p.m. on the 1900 block of Grinnalds Avenue. Responders attempted life-savings measures, but the boy was pronounced dead at the scene. While on scene, homicide detectives were notified of a second victim at an area hospital. The victim was suffering a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his lower right back. Two people are dead after separate attacks across Baltimore overnight. Baltimore police officers were called to the Sinai Hospital to investigate after a walk-in victim arrived around 3:30 p.m., Monday, April 10. A 16-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with a recent Fells Point homicide, authorities said. The teenager was arrested and charged with the murder of 30-year-old Marco Nunez, Baltimore Police said. A 15-year-old girl faces manslaughter charges after shooting a 16-year-old boy in Oxon Hill, in what police believe was an accident, according to officials. The juvenile girl was handling a firearm at a home in the 4900 block of Glassmanor Drive when it discharged, striking the teenage boy at around 6:00 p.m. on Jan. 26, Prince George's County Police said.
