Baltimore Police believe that Karon Alston, 27, approached the 67-year-old victim while he was getting out of his vehicle in the 3500 block of Northway Avenue on the night of Wednesday, Feb. 15.
Police say that Alston pulled a gun on the victim, shooting at him and leaving a graze wound on his stomach before fleeing the scene.
Police were able to identify the suspect and obtain an arrest warrant and took Alston into custody on Wednesday, March 29 in the 3500 block of E. Northern Parkway.
Alston has been charged with attempted first-degree murder and attempted armed robbery.
