Woman Seriously Burned In Parkville House Fire

A residential fire in Baltimore County left a woman fighting for her life, authorities say.

The woman suffered serious injuries after the fire, which occurred at a home in the 7900 block of Beverly Avenue in Parkville, Baltimore County fire officials said shortly before 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 8.

Emergency personnel rushed the woman to the Bayview Burn Center for treatment of what were described as "serious injuries."

The cause and origin of the fire are both currently under investigation.
