Man Dies When Car Strikes Tree In Prince George's County: Police A man died Sunday night when he crashed into a tree in Prince George’s County, officials said. The crash happened around 7:30 p.m. near the 6500 block of Landover Road in Hyattsville, according to the Prince George’s County Police Department. Eloy Ramirez, 29, was heading northbound when he lost control and struck a tree. Ramirez, of Hyattsville, was found unresponsive and pronounced dead at the scene. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit at 301-731-4422.
