Police Find Loaded Handgun In Stolen Car As Driver Flees, Crashes In Crofton A loaded handgun was found inside a stolen vehicle following a crash in Anne Arundel County overnight Friday, leading to pending charges for the injured driver, police said. It happened on Route 3 near Defense Highway in Crofton around 12:40 a.m., AACPD said. Officers tried to stop a white 2011 Infinity G37 that then fled and ran a stop sign before crashing into another vehicle. The driver was detained as a search of the car turned up a loaded .38 caliber Glock handgun and two bottles of suspected promethazine/codeine, police said. Maryland Road Rage Driver Arrested After Pointing Gun At Others An armed Maryland man has been arrested after a road rage incident in Gambrills, authorities say. Mohamed Sall, 42, is accused of pointing a gun at others while driving in the area of Route 3 and Churchview Road around 5:15 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 5, according to Anne Arundel County Police. The victim advised officers that Sall was traveling in a black Acura, and pointed a handgun at him. Officers were able to locate Sall and conduct a traffic stop where a loaded Sig Sauer handgun was recovered. Sall was charged accordingly.
