What started as a routine traffic stop in St. Mary's County led to the arrest of a wanted man and convict who now faces drug and weapon charges, officials say.
Lexington Park residents Robert Doral Harrod, 36, and Talmadge Jones, 51, were taken into custody over the weekend when the latter was stopped by members of the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office.
According to the agency, Jones was driving on Great Mills Road when he committed a traffic violation and was stopped be sheriff's deputies, who found that he had an open warrant out for his arrest.

Didn't Get Away This Time: Three Car Thieves Busted After Being Spotted In Pasadena
Three people were arrested after being busted in a stolen vehicle in Pasadena, authorities say.
Anne Arundel County officers first observed the stolen vehicle around 9:30 p.m., Monday, March 20 on Mountain Road near Catherine Avenue.
Police had previously attempted to stop the vehicle but were unsuccessful. Officers continued to monitor the vehicle until it was parked in the 100 block of Glen Road in Glen Burnie before approaching the suspects.
