Man And Girl Killed, Woman Injured In Maryland Triple-Shooting: Police
A man and girl were killed, and a woman was wounded in a triple-shooting in Maryland Wednesday night, Feb. 28. It happened in a home on the 6900 block of Stansbury Lane in Landover around 9:30 p.m., Prince George’s County Police said. Officers found three wounded from gunfire and pronounced the man and girl dead at the scene. The woman was taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. Detectives don’t believe the crime to be random, adding that there is no ongoing threat to the community. New details have been released after a 16-year-old was killed and a second teen airlifted to the hospital during a midday shooting. Police in Annapolis are still attempting to track down the person who killed Robert Clark in the 1900 block of Copeland Street in late July. Five people were shot - one fatally in Baltimore over the course of less than 90 minutes overnight as violence in the city continues to cause concerns in the community. Memorial Honors Baltimore Safe Streets Worker Killed In Quadruple Shooting
The Baltimore community is mourning the loss of DaShawn McGrier, a Safe Streets worker killed last week in a quadruple shooting. McGrier was about a month into the job as violence interruption at McElderry Park when he and two others were shot dead last Wednesday, according to the Living Classroom Foundation.
