A 4.8 magnitude earthquake with a New Jersey epicenter was confirmed by the USGS Thursday, April 5 The quake occurred at 10:23 a.m. about 7 km north of Whitehouse Station, NJ, according to the USGS. A 2.0 aftershock was reported at approximately 12:20 p.m. west of Bedminster, the USGS said.
