Lynn Police Investigating Children For Burning Dog To Death: Report Young children may have been behind the death of a dog found burned on the side of the road in Lynn over the weekend, news reports said.  Authorities called Lynnfield Animal Control after a dog was reportedly set on fire on Curwin Circle on Saturday, Sept. 4, CBS Boston reported. Neighbors found the animal on fire in a wooded area around 12:30 p.m.  The dog's owner lived at a nearby housing complex, CBS reported. An individual approached officers about a woman who was harassing another commuter, who she also spit on, at South Station around 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 14, MBTA Transit Police said.  Officers later learned that the woman, later identified as Pia Weber, was wanted for assaulting a police officer in Hudson County, N.J. Weber was arrested for being a fugitive and taken to TPD's headquarters for booking.

Hit-Run Crash Under Investigation In Chicopee One person was injured during a hit-and-run crash in Western Massachusetts. The incident took place around 3:30 p.m., Tuesday,  Feb. 1, on Exchange Street in Chicopee, according to 22 News. The news channel reported a vehicle hit a parked car and then left the area. Police told the news channel the vehicle, with the driver and passenger inside, were caught a short distance away. One of the suspects was taken to the hospital with injuries but the injuries are said to be minor. The crash is under investigation.
