Ramp Between Route 9A, Taconic State Parkway In Mount Pleasant To Close: Here's When A ramp between a busy main route and a parkway in Northern Westchester will soon be blocked to traffic for several hours, officials warned.  The ramp from the southbound lanes of Route 9A to the southbound Taconic State Parkway in Mount Pleasant will close for much of the morning and part of the afternoon on Thursday, Sept. 12, the New York State Department of Transportation announced. Intermittent Traffic Stoppages To Affect Route 133 In New Castle: Here's When Those who hate sitting in traffic for long periods should watch out for planned intermittent stoppages on a busy Northern Westchester road.  A series of 15-minute traffic stoppages on Route 133 between Henry Place and Route 9 in the town of New Castle are planned for Wednesday, Sept. 11, the New York State Department of Transportation announced.  The stoppages will last between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Wednesday, officials added.  They will allow for overhead wire work in the area.

Driver Injured In 2-Car Crash In Front Of Van Cortlandt Manor In Croton-On-Hudson A two-car crash in front of a historic Northern Westchester manor-turned-museum caused injuries, firefighters said.  The incident happened in Croton-on-Hudson on Saturday, Sept. 7 at around 7:20 p.m., when two vehicles collided in front of Van Cortlandt Manor on South Riverside Avenue, according to the Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department.  Arriving fire crews dealt with a fluid spill from one of the cars while EMS treated a driver injured in the crash.  Both vehicles were later towed away, the department said. The cause of the crash was not released.
