Teen, 2-Year-Old Found Stabbed To Death Inside West Haven Home Following Harrowing 911 Call A scuffle overheard by neighbors led police to a horrific discovery earlier this weekend: the bodies of a teenage woman and a 2-year-old son boy who'd been violently stabbed to death, authorities said.  Police received a 911 call just before 9 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 15, to reports of a woman screaming in the apartment above them at 430 Melroy Road in West Haven, officials said. 57-Year-Old Rushed To ICU After Stamford Hit-Run Crash A 57-year-old Stamford man is in critical condition after being struck by an SUV on West Main Street, with police closing in on the suspected hit-and-run driver who fled the scene. The crash happened around 7 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 16, when a westbound 2008 Lexus SUV hit the pedestrian in the 400 block of West Main Street, police said. The victim suffered life-threatening injuries and was rushed to Stamford Hospital, where he was admitted to the ICU. The fatal wreck happened around 1:43 a.m. on Feb. 14 when a northbound 2007 Honda Accord slammed into an Amtrak train bridge near South Colony Road and Powers Drive in Meriden, police said.
