A driver charged in a crash that killed a 10-year-old girl had been arrested just days before the incident, according to newly released court records.
Sherrie Mae Plitouke, 35, of Southbridge, is accused of crashing into and killing 10-year-old Marleigh Guevara on April 11 in Webster. She was arraigned on charges of motor vehicle homicide, negligent operation, and speeding on Tuesday, April 21.

A Massachusetts man was arrested over the weekend after police said he drove the wrong way on I-84 in Connecticut, blaming his GPS for the mistake, authorities said.
Alex Caiza-Apugllon, 28, of Chicopee, was arrested early Saturday morning, March 15, after troopers were alerted to a red Hyundai Elantra traveling east in the westbound lanes of the interstate in Farmington, according to Connecticut State Police.

Central Mass Man ID'd As Victim In Fatal Fiery CT Crash
Police in Connecticut have identified the man killed in a Windham County crash last month as a 54-year-old whose truck struck a pole and caught fire, authorities said.
Craig David Laliberte, 54, of Southbridge, Massachusetts, was behind the wheel when his Ford F-350 veered off Route 198 in Woodstock, Windham County, just after 5:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30, state police said.
The truck was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived at the scene.
The Connecticut Office of the Chief Medical Examiner identified Laliberte after an autopsy, and police contacted his next of kin.

Florence Man Crashes Head-On Into CT Police Cruiser While Driving Wrong Way On Highway: Cops
An 85-year-old man crashed into a police car while driving the wrong way on a highway in Connecticut, authorities said.
Gerald Lapointe, of Florence, Massachusetts, was cited after he crashed into a Connecticut State Police car in Harwinton in Litchfield County just after midnight on Friday, Nov. 15, police said.
In the police cruiser dash cam video of the crash, the trooper flashes his spotlight on the driver to alert him, but Lapointe continues driving south in the northbound lane of Route 8, about a mile south of exit 44, authorities said.
