Western Mass Man Indicted On 1st-Degree Murder Charge For Death Of 29-Year-Old A Massachusetts grand jury has indicted Jonathan Poirier on murder and gun charges in the death of 29-year-old Austin Schepper of Sturbridge, deepening a case that has gripped several small towns. Poirier, 35, of Holland, is charged with first-degree murder, armed robbery with a firearm, two counts of conspiracy to traffic guns, two separate theft charges, and unlawful possession of both gun and ammunition, the Hampden District Attorney's Office said.  He remains held without bail and is due back in court for a pre-trial hearing on July 14. Body Found In Western Mass ID'd As Missing Man A body found last month in Hampden County was identified as the remains of a man who had gone missing about a week earlier, authorities said.  Austin Schepper, 29, of Sturbridge, disappeared on Feb. 7 from his home, police said. Authorities announced on Wednesday, March 5, that his body was discovered in the 100 block of Union Road in Holland on Feb. 26.  Authorities did not disclose how Schepper died, but the investigation continues.  A GoFundMe for his family to cover his funeral expenses has raised more than $1,000 as of Wednesday.  Police urged anyone with informat…
