CT Man Guilty Of Kidnapping, Murdering Mass Father Of 3, Leaving Body Bound In Abandoned Car
A Connecticut man has been found guilty in the kidnapping and killing of a Massachusetts man whose body was later discovered bound in a car in a Somers field.
Timothy Lange, 36, of New Britain, was convicted on Thursday, March 5, of second-degree kidnapping, felony murder, and tampering with evidence after a trial before Judge Tejas Bhatt, according to Tolland Judicial District State’s Attorney Craig P. Nowak.
Prosecutors said the case began early on Aug. 4, 2021, at a bar in East Windsor.

A former pediatric doctor at Boston Children’s Hospital has been sentenced to more than two decades in federal prison for sharing child sexual abuse material that included images of infants, babies, and kids he knew, the U.S. attorney said Thursday.
Christopher Sheerer, 37, of Boston, was sentenced to 22 years in prison, to be followed by five years of supervised release, U.S. Attorney Leah Foley said. Chief U.S. District Judge Denise J. Casper imposed the sentence.
