New Details Revealed About Suspect In Charlie Kirk's Killing As Manhunt Intensifies Authorities have released more information about the suspect wanted in the killing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University. Kirk was shot in the neck at around 12:10 p.m. MDT on Wednesday, Sept. 10. The 31-year-old was holding a rally on the campus in Orem, Utah, about 40 miles south of Salt Lake City.
