Worcester Man, 31, Killed In Fiery Oxford Crash On Route 395
A 31-year-old man was killed Friday night, Sept. 29, after his car veered off the road and crashed into a tree, authorities said.
Shawn Marengo, 31, of Worcester, was driving his Jeeps south on Route 395 in Oxford near Exit 4 around 10 p.m. when he left the roadway, Massachusetts State Police say.
The Jeep slammed into a tree and caught fire. Marengo was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
It's unclear what caused his car to leave the road. State police are investigating the circumstances that led up to the fatal incident.

Two Worcester County men have been indicted on charges of breaking into a 62-year-old's home on July 28 and fatally shooting him, officials said.
Thomas E. Martin, 45, of Fitchburg, and Christian Collins, 37, of Worcester, face charges of murder, home invasion, armed assault in a dwelling, assault with a dangerous weapon, and possession of a firearm without an FID card, the Worcester County District Attorney's Office said.

The Massachusetts State Lottery announced that a Mass Cash ticket purchased at Joe’s Kwik Mart, 287 Prospect St. in Cambridge, on Sept. 30, 2022, will expire on Sept. 29.
The winner numbers are 07-11-16-27-29.
Whoever has the ticket must turn it in at one of the Lottery claim centers in Braintree, Dorchester, Lawrence, New Bedford, West Springfield, and Worcester before the expiration date.
