A potent storm that brought heavy rainfall over the weekend will be followed by separate weather systems that could bring accumulating snow to parts of the region this week, according to AccuWeather. The first chance for snow arrives Sunday, Jan. 11, across the Great Lakes and interior Northeast, including areas from Buffalo to Albany, northern New England, and Quebec City. A damp and dreary St. Patrick's Day will be followed by a larger storm system as the weekend arrives. Thursday, March 17 has stated out with dense fog that will linger for several hours. "Motorists can expect sudden changes in visibility in foggy areas," the National Weather Service said in a statement issued early Thursday morning.
