IDs Released For Buffalo Victims, Including Woman, 31, Who Was Caring For Brother With Cancer
Police have released the names of the victims in the mass shooting in Buffalo that left 10 people dead and three with non-life-threatening injuries. The shooting took place around 2:30 p.m., Saturday, May 14, at Tops Market on Jefferson Avenue in a predominantly Black neighborhood, Buffalo Police Commissioner Joseph Gramaglia said. ISIS Wannabe From Connecticut Not Mentally Fit For Trial
A Hamden man who allegedly pledged allegiance to ISIS and attempted to fight for the terrorist organization is not mentally fit to stand trial. Kevin Iman McCormick, 27, was charged with a felony for attempting to provide material support to the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS) in October 2019, according to the office of United States Attorney of Connecticut John H. Terrorism Squad Investigates Powder Mailed To Western Mass Hospital
A federal terrorism task force is investigating a white powder that was mailed to a Western Massachusetts hospital. On Monday, Sept. 21, the Holyoke Fire Department responded to Holyoke Medical Center for a report of “unknown white powder” that arrived at the hospital in an envelope. Two staff members were exposed to the powder that fell out of the envelope when it opened, Holyoke firefighters said. Under the hospital’s emergency plan, the building was evacuated as a precaution. ICE Removes Man In Boston Convicted For Northern Ireland Police Station Bombing
An Irish national who was convicted of bombing a Northern Irish police station was recently captured by ICE in Boston. Darcy Gearoid McMenamin, is a member of the Irish Republican Army, according to a statement by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Based on past convictions for terrorism and violence, McMenamin was removed from the U.S. after an immigration judge denied his request to stay here.
