Firefighters rescued a mother and daughter who were trapped by flames in a three-story home in Worcester on Sunday, Nov. 12. The three-alarm fire broke out at 1 Cohasset St., where fire officials said that two people were rescued from the third floor of the building around 8 p.m., NBC10 Boston reported. Three-Alarm Fire Displaces 7, Causes Extensive Damage To Central Mass Home
Several people are without a home after a multi-alarm fire ripped through a multi-family house in Central Massachusetts this week, fire officials tell Daily Voice. Crews responded to the three-alarm fire at 11 Arch Street in North Brookfield around mid-morning on Thursday, March 30, Fire Chief Joseph Holway told Daily Voice. Central Mass Man Gets 18 To 20 Years For Killing 38-Year-Old Worcester Woman
A Shrewsbury man was sentenced to 18 to 20 years in prison for killing a 38-year-old Worcester woman in 2018, the Worcester County District Attorney's office reports. Joseph Dalrymple, who was originally charged with murder, pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter in connection with the death of Marlene Bleau on Thursday, Sept. 15, the office said. Bleau was found face-down in the waters of Lake Quinsigamond around Lake Avenue on July 28, 2018, the office reports.
