Niche has released its Best Public High Schools in America rankings for 2025. The list evaluates schools using data from the Department of Education, along with millions of student and parent reviews. Rankings are based on academics, college readiness, graduation rates, teacher quality, and school culture. Students Feel Record Stress Over Admissions, MIT Passes Harvard As Top Dream College: Survey For high school seniors, spring is a nerve-wracking time as college decisions roll in — but the class of 2025 is more stressed than ever, according to a new survey. The Princeton Review said 73 percent of students and parents reported "high" or "very high" stress over the admissions process. That's the highest level in the 23-year history of the College Hopes & Worries Survey, which had its 2025 edition released on Tuesday, Mar. 4. Here's When SAT Will Go Completely Online, College Board Says The SAT, a standardized test used for college admissions, is set to move to a completely digital format. Students outside of the United States will start taking the SAT digitally in 2023, and in the US, the digital test will start being administered in 2024, the College Board announced on Tuesday, Jan. 25.
