Woman Wanted For Assaulting Officer In New Jersey Snagged In Massachusetts
A Bronx woman wanted in New Jersey for assaulting a police officer was recently arrested in Boston, authorities said. An individual approached officers about a woman who was harassing another commuter, who she also spit on, at South Station around 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 14, MBTA Transit Police said. Officers later learned that the woman, later identified as Pia Weber, was wanted for assaulting a police officer in Hudson County, N.J. Weber was arrested for being a fugitive and taken to TPD's headquarters for booking.

Massachusetts Man Had Ghost Gun On Him During Attack At MBTA Station: Police
A 30-year-old Lawrence man had a ghost gun in his backpack when he attacked two construction workers for no reason at an MBTA station earlier this week, police said. Jose Lara was trespassing at a construction site near South Station just before 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 12, MBTA Transit Police said. When two workers asked him to leave the garage where they were working, Lara lashed out and punched them before running away, police said. He threw down his book bag as he fled. Malden Man Wanted For Lewd Acts Caught Red-Handed At Boston Train Station
A Malden man wanted for sexually lewd acts was caught red-handed in Boston this week, authorities said. Police responded for a report of a woman being harassed by an unknown man at South Station's bus terminal around 4 a.m. on Friday, July 8, MBTA Transit Police said. The woman told officers the man, later identified as Cassios Lima, requested that she engage in sexual activity with him for money, police said.
